This former Rowntree / Nestlé chocolate factory was built between 1909 and 1938 and was home to famous Rowntree brands such as KitKat and Aero amongst many more. More recently the Edwardian and Art Deco multi-storey factory buildings have remained empty as state of the art facilities have been built to the north of the site. We have gained planning permission for residential conversion of these historic buildings in a conservation area for 258 apartments with shared community spaces, integrated cycle facilities, and a new build convenience store. The listed library has been preserved and integrated into our proposals for the site.
