We were asked to design an interior scheme for a new annexe building, situated in the grounds of Highfield Park Hotel, an elegant 17th century manor house, on the Hampshire / Berkshire border. The new building added a further 27 bedrooms, plus a bridal suite, to the hotels existing 58 bedrooms.

The brief was to create a scheme which had a high-end feel, was comfortable and welcoming but with a keen eye on the budget. Being situated near the manor house, and with a backdrop of 35 acres of beautiful rolling parkland, it was also important that the spaces had an elegant country feel.

The client had an extensive collection of furniture, light fittings, mirrors, and soft furnishings, which we were asked to include. We created a scheme which had a neutral but refined palette, as the perfect backdrop for the mixture of rustic, antique, mid-century furniture and lighting. The overall effect being one which quietly exudes luxury and comfort.
